Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong understanding of video production processes from conception to final edit. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency in video editing software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be creating engaging video content primarily for social media platforms, showcasing the unique personalities and offerings of diverse businesses mostly here in Savannah. This is a pay-by-performance opportunity, with compensation based on the digital assets and deliverables you create.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging video content, specifically tailored for social media platforms.
• Capture high-quality video footage using professional videography techniques, with an eye for capturing the essence of Savannah businesses.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software, ensuring the content is optimized for various social media channels.
• Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance storytelling and create visually compelling social media content.
• Manage post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, and final rendering, ensuring high-quality output for online platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production and editing, particularly those relevant to social media content creation and engagement.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to DAYPLAY’s quality standards, ensuring that all video content aligns with the creative vision and brand identity of each individual business.
• Utilize your own equipment and resources for video capture and editing, ensuring that it meets DAYPLAY’s technical requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, particularly examples of engaging social media content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere and After Effects; knowledge of Final Cut Pro is a plus.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and film techniques to create visually compelling content optimized for social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows and best practices, particularly those relevant to online video delivery and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients, understanding their social media marketing goals and target audiences.
