Job Description

This is a remote position. Paradise Weddings is focused on creating unforgettable destination weddings, and we are seeking a social-savvy, creative powerhouse to help us tell our story online. We need an experienced Social Media Editor / Video Remixer who can transform our raw assets into cohesive, high-performing social content.

This role is ideal for someone who understands hooks, brand voice, storytelling, and platform strategy. You should be able to confidently edit, repurpose, and package content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and others. You will not be starting from scratch but refining, repurposing, and elevating existing content into a clear, consistent online presence. This role is part-time and remote, with opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing and managing social content for brands (wedding, travel, or lifestyle considered an asset).
• Strong editing skills; ability to refine and elevate content.
• Deep understanding of short-form video and platform-specific formats.
• Ability to take direction, then work independently and make creative decisions.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working asynchronously.
• Strong instinct for brand voice, tone, and visual consistency.
• Someone seasoned, confident, reliable, and able to move quickly.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and repurpose long-form content into social-ready posts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts).
• Organize existing ideas, drafts, footage, and concepts into strategic content calendars.
• Shape content into clear themes and pillars for intentional feeds.
• Maintain and protect brand voice across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the Community Manager for consistency and alignment.
• Suggest formats, hooks, and optimizations based on performance and trends.

Time Commitment

• Part-time: 15–20 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule, Monday–Friday availability preferred.
