I am a former journalist turned lifestyle vlogger at Cyndicated Media, and I am looking for a skilled vlog editor who understands meme culture, comedic timing, and sound design to help bring my long-form lifestyle vlogs to life. These videos are personality-driven, with pacing, humor, subtle edits, and clean visuals all playing an important role. The vlogs typically run from 15 to 45 minutes and can be personality-forward lifestyle, fashion, beauty, or ‘life lately’ style content that blends cozy, luxe, and funny moments. I need an editor with a strong sense of comedic timing, experience in adding meme inserts, sound effects, zooms, cuts, pauses, and reaction-style edits, and the ability to keep longer videos engaging without excessive editing while delivering a clean, polished final product. You should have proven experience editing YouTube vlogs or long-form creator content, be comfortable with videos of this length, and have strong audio editing skills. Familiarity with internet and meme culture is important, as is reliability with turnaround times. It’s a big plus if you are familiar with Black culture, Korean culture, or enjoy editing humorous, personality-driven content. I am open to working per video or on a weekly basis and am looking for an ongoing relationship with the right editor. Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is required.
