Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Producer/Editor to join our dynamic media team as a freelancer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and editing B-roll (AI generated, or stock video) to match a script for a training video. This role requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in various editing software, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content experts.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Find B-Roll online that matches the script.
- Enhance video quality through color correction, photo editing, photo manipulation, and post-production techniques using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge.
- Design engaging graphics and typography to complement video content with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Manage content workflows efficiently through content management systems and FTP protocols.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Maintain organized project files and assets for easy retrieval and updates.
Experience
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including several of these: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge; Final Cut Pro; Avid Media Composer; Cinema 4D; Maya; and other relevant software.
- Experience with photo and video editing, photo manipulation, motion graphics, and finding online B-Roll that is relevant.
- Strong understanding of typography, graphic design principles, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for creative professionals passionate about visual storytelling through video production and editing.
Additional Information
Pay: $23.63 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
