Job Description
Vehlo is on a mission to automate and accelerate the vehicle repair industry with software and payment solutions designed to help auto service teams acquire, service, and retain lifelong customers. The Shop-Ware team is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join them. The team develops modern Shop Management Software that provides transformational shop management tools and transparent customer-facing communications, leading to increased efficiency, enhanced profitability, and top-notch customer service.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, you will build and rapidly iterate on full stack application features using highly customized API and integrations, primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. You will also contribute to architectural vision and execution and continually help improve development practices to deliver highly available software.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Thorough knowledge of Ruby on Rails, including the framework’s pros and cons, effective code organization, and the ability to write efficient and understandable code.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails 6, HTML, CSS, and React JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or SQL engines.
- Familiarity with Backbone.js is a plus.
- At least 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Must be able to work remotely within the PST time zone.
- Ability to provide non-proprietary and non-confidential samples of your work if possible.
- We are not able to sponsor visas.
