Position: Video Editor (1099 Contractor)

Location: U.S.-Based | Remote

Compensation: Pay dependent on experience

We’re a fast-growing real estate investing education company on a mission to help people transform their lives through the power of real estate. Our programs provide step-by-step training, mentorship, and community support—and our content plays a major role in inspiring and educating future investors.

We’re looking for a talented and reliable Video Editor to create high-quality short-form and occasional long-form content. This role is ideal for someone who understands social video trends, can edit quickly, and can turn raw footage into polished, engaging assets.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Edit occasional long-form content
• Repurpose existing footage into platform-optimized formats
• Add captions, subtitles, graphics, and light animation
• Ensure consistency with brand voice and visual identity
• Collaborate with the team on content needs and timelines
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently

Qualifications:

• Proven video editing experience
• Strong skills with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar
• Understanding of short-form video performance and trends
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability
• Clear communication and ability to work independently
• U.S.-based contractor with availability during standard U.S. business hours

Nice to Have:

• Experience editing for personal brands, creators, or online businesses
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Trello
