Job Description

Udacity, now an Accenture company, is seeking a remote on-call video editor to collaborate with the production team in creating engaging, high-quality videos for their online learning platform. This position is typically scoped for approximately 25-30 hours per week.

The role involves editing course content using Adobe Premiere, with an emphasis on producing educational material that caters to a global audience of students. As projects arise, the selected candidates from the contractor pool will be contacted for more information on the scope of work and compensation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A strong reel showcasing editing skills and visual storytelling ability.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Experience in animating 2D and 3D animations.
• Strong media management and organizational skills.
• Ability to take direction while demonstrating sound editorial judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to juggle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Comfort working on long-term editing tasks as well as quickly shifting to urgent assignments.
• Desire to develop technical skills and learn from failure; willingness to ask questions.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
