Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Producer/Editor to craft compelling multimedia content that engages audiences across multiple platforms. This role oversees the full production lifecycle, from conceptualization and scripting through editing and post-production, delivering high-quality, impactful stories on deadline.

Requirements

• Prior experience in news, broadcast journalism, or digital media production
• Proven video editing and post-production experience using Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and/or iMovie or similar editing platforms
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of journalism principles, including accuracy, fairness, and ethical storytelling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to create scripts, story outlines, and production notes
• Demonstrated ability to adapt or interpret content across languages or cultural contexts (bilingual skills preferred)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution strategies
• Technical proficiency across video editing, graphic design, and visual storytelling tools
• Experience in translation, technical writing, or accessibility-focused content is a plus

Duties

• Develop and produce engaging video content aligned with project goals, editorial standards, and audience interests
• Manage all phases of video production, including planning, scripting, filming, and editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, or similar programs
• Edit raw footage into polished final products, incorporating graphics, sound, and visual effects as needed
• Collaborate with writers, journalists, producers, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and narrative clarity
• Oversee post-production workflows to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high production quality
• Optimize video content for social and digital platforms, monitoring audience engagement and performance
• Translate, adapt, or interpret content when necessary to reach bilingual audiences or diverse markets
