We’re seeking an experienced freelance video editor to collaborate with our award-winning creative team on high-impact, digital-first video projects, ranging from short- to long-form formats.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

• Edit persuasive political and issue advocacy ads ranging from long and short form (plus cutdowns and platform-specific versions).
• Collaborate with creative leads to shape story, pacing, and performance across various styles (direct-to-camera, documentary, contrast, and rapid-response).
• Build compelling narratives from mixed assets (professional footage, archival/news, stock, stills, graphics, VO, music, and sound design).
• Create clean, organized project workflows enabling fast iteration and precise revisions under deadline pressure.
• Deliver final exports across common specs and destinations (social, OTT, CTV, web), including audio mix standards and caption/subtitle delivery where needed.

Requirements

Position Requirements include:

• 5+ years of professional editing experience (preferably in agency, campaign/political, documentary, brand, or issue advocacy).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (and ability to work with After Effects assets/templates when needed).
• Collaborative, feedback-friendly communicator who can take direction and make independent editorial decisions.
• Comfort working in political environments and high-sensitivity moments.

Bonuses to have include:

• Fluency in After Effects (light motion, compositing, troubleshooting, template adaptation).
• Experience delivering for broadcast/OTT specs (where applicable), including loudness targets and QC-minded finishing.
• Strong sound instincts (dialog cleanup, music editing, SFX, punchy mixes).
