Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team and help produce high-performing content across Instagram, TikTok, and long-form platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands retention, pacing, and modern social media editing styles—not just cutting clips, but crafting content that keeps viewers watching.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels & TikTok
• Edit long-form content, including:
• VSLs (15–45 minutes)
• YouTube-style videos
• Add captions, graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and pacing optimized for engagement
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips
• Follow brand style guides and reference examples closely
• Meet deadlines consistently and communicate clearly

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form & long-form video content
• Strong understanding of:
• Hook creation
• Retention strategies
• Social-first editing styles
• Proficiency in tools such as:
• Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Attention to detail and storytelling flow

Style Reference

• Jeremy Haynes YouTube videos (editing style & pacing)
• Instagram Reels / TikTok content in a similar educational, high-retention format

(These references will be provided to align expectations.)

Nice to Have

• Experience editing content for real estate, finance, or educational creators
• Familiarity with subtitles that drive retention (dynamic captions)
• Understanding of platform-specific trends (IG vs TikTok)
