Job Description

Tennis Channel is evolving into a modern sports media powerhouse, focusing on streaming and social-first video content designed to enhance fan engagement. We are hiring a Freelance Social & Digital Video Editor, Podcast to create social and digital video clips for a tennis-specific podcast franchise. This role involves transforming long-form conversations into short-form moments for various platforms. You will work closely with the Director of Social Media and collaborate with other teams to enhance our podcast’s digital presence.

This freelance role is onsite in our Santa Monica, CA office, expected to be approximately 8 hours per day from Monday to Thursday, running through early December 2026.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience editing digital and social video content, with specific podcast editing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-specific video best practices
• Proven experience creating short-form video clips from long-form content
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools a plus)
• Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong editorial judgment with a good eye for pacing, tone, and narrative clarity
• Passion for sports, culture, and tennis strongly preferred

The compensation for this role is $300.00 per day (Monday to Thursday, 8 hours a day). Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
