I am seeking a reliable and flexible video editor to collaborate on a 25-minute short film called “Leviathan.” The film will be submitted to festivals this year and acts as a proof-of-concept for a potential feature-length adaptation. As the director and screenwriter based in Brussels, I will be closely involved in the editing process. The project requires editing during the week, with a hybrid work approach – mostly remote but with occasional in-person sessions. The candidate should have experience with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, and ideally be able to assist with or handle color grading. Sound design skills are a bonus, but not essential. The film is in English, so English proficiency is important, and French is a plus. Availability over the next few weeks is needed, as the delivery deadline is the first week of March.

Who are you, and what do you do?
My name is Olisay Murenzi, and I’m a 22-year-old screenwriter and director. I completed studies in screenwriting and directing at SAE Institute in Amsterdam and am currently based in Brussels. I speak English and French fluently. This project is a short film intended for festival submissions, with the long-term goal of developing it into a feature-length film, for which a full script is already written. The short serves as a proof-of-concept and creative foundation for the larger project.
