Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented contract video editor to support ongoing client projects. This role is fully remote and focused entirely on post-production editing. You will be provided with organized footage and clear creative direction and will be responsible for delivering polished, on-brand video assets for marketing and social media use.

This is a contract role with the opportunity to transition into a salaried position after a six-month probation period, based on performance, consistency, and workload.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content for marketing and social media
• Create clean, engaging cuts optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and websites
• Sync and clean audio as needed
• Apply basic color correction and light color grading
• Organize project files and exports clearly
• Meet project deadlines and communicate progress proactively
• Implement feedback efficiently and professionally

Requirements

Equipment & Software Requirements (Must Have)

• Reliable computer capable of handling video editing workflows
• Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
• High-speed internet for downloading/uploading footage
• Ability to manage files and deliver exports efficiently

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience editing branded or commercial content
• Familiarity with social media formats and aspect ratios

Qualifications

• Experience in video editing (basic to intermediate level or higher)
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling flow
• Organized, dependable, and deadline-driven
• Ability to work independently with clear direction
• Strong communication skills in a remote work environment
