Job Description

As a Middle/Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React.js) at AgileEngine, you will be instrumental in shaping a beta-stage enterprise platform in the purchasing and supply chain domain, advancing it into a scalable, production-ready solution. Your contributions will directly affect system reliability, performance, and customer readiness, impacting complex decision-making across the product. This role involves working end-to-end in a modern AWS-based environment with a distributed team across the US and Europe, allowing for significant ownership and visibility over the product lifecycle. It is a prime opportunity for engineers who prioritize autonomy, quick execution, and meaningful technical growth in a collaborative international setup.

Requirements

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience in full stack engineering, with a strong background in building enterprise web applications and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering principles.
• Professional experience in frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, React, Redux, and Webpack, including building responsive and cross-platform interfaces and translating UX/UI designs into production-ready solutions.
• 3+ years of professional Java development with strong Object-Oriented Programming proficiency, experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate, along with experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for reliable backend systems.
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, focusing on efficient data model design, performant query writing, and exposure to NoSQL technologies like Redis.
• Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling, containerized systems using Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes, along with strong proficiency in Git and modern version-control workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, effective time management, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Vue.js or Angular.js.
• Experience in building cross-platform responsive web applications.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes beyond basic exposure.
• Prior experience with SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with purchasing, supply chain, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring tools, and security best practices.
• Experience in tuning relational database performance.
