YouTube - Clip Researcher

We’re building fast-paced YouTube reaction channels across viral internet moments and football, and are expanding our freelance Clip Researcher pool to support growing production.

The role involves sourcing, reviewing, and preparing high-quality clips that match a given brief and video title. This includes identifying relevant viral or football content, checking suitability for a younger audience, ensuring clips are safe and legal for YouTube, and preparing organised clip packs in Adobe Premiere Pro that are genuinely ready to record.

Application process:
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a short written application, a focused clip research task (time-boxed and not a full project), and a simple video application. This helps us understand how you think and approach a brief, not your production polish.

Successful candidates will move to a short onboarding call, followed by two paid trial projects before any ongoing freelance work is agreed.

This role suits organised, detail-focused researchers who enjoy digging through content and understand what makes strong reaction videos, whether football-focused or general internet content.

Budget range:
£115 to £135 per project depending on scope.
