We’re a fast-growing real estate media company based in Vancouver, WA, serving realtors, builders, and property managers throughout the Greater Vancouver and Portland Metropolitan areas. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in real estate video content to keep projects running smoothly and on time, allowing our creative team and leadership to focus on storytelling and client relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing real estate videos or similar.
• Strong understanding of social media formats and trends.
• Motion graphics & text animation capabilities.
• Experience with captions/subtitles for social platforms.
• Sound design and music selection expertise.
• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Reliable, communicative, and deadline-driven.
• Ability to take feedback and revise efficiently.
• Experience editing for real estate brands or brokerages (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok best practices (Nice to Have).
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator) (Nice to Have).
• Experience working with remote creative teams (Nice to Have).
• Video editing: 2 years (Preferred).

Role Responsibilities

• Edit real estate listing videos (quick highlights, cinematic walkthroughs, lifestyle edits).
• Create short-form social media content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Edit talking-head videos (jump cuts, captions, b-roll, pacing).
• Add motion graphics and effects (lower thirds, titles, simple animations).
• Perform color correction/grading and audio cleanup.
• Follow brand guidelines and client feedback while maintaining a consistent style.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (most projects are due within 24 hours).

Compensation & Workflow

• Per project rate depending on scope of edit - ranging from $60 for 1 min simple edits with minimal effects to $120+ for longer edits with additional effects and graphics.
• Pay rate to be determined based upon experience and scope of projects.
• Contractor role (1099).
