Job Description

Shine Creative is an award-winning broadcast design and editorial boutique located in downtown Washington, DC, specializing in short-form promo and commercial work for various clients such as Ad Agencies, Political Campaigns, Broadcast Networks, and Public Affairs Agencies. We are seeking a Senior Editor/Motion Graphics Designer for a three-month freelance contract from August 1 to October 31, 2024. Shine Creative offers a fast-paced, energetic, and fun work environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with AfterEffects and Adobe Premier.
• Cinema 4D experience is a plus.
• Strong editorial and storytelling skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work long hours when needed.
• Comfortable with client communication in the studio.
• Able to work in-person in Washington, DC (remote work is not an option).
• Dependable, adaptable/flexible, and has a high stress tolerance.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in editing and design is required.

Additional Information

If you are not from the DC area, Shine Creative will cover travel and accommodations while you are in DC for the contract. The job type is temporary or contract, with pay ranging from $550.00 to $950.00 per day, depending on skills and qualifications.
