Job Description

Our client, a D2C wellness company, is looking for 2 Freelance Video Editors to assist their team with a social media project. This is a fully remote role, and will be 40 hours per week for the weeks of February 16 and February 23. This role has the potential to lead to more long-term video work if the workload picks up.

The Freelance Video Editor (Social) will:

• Work within Adobe Premiere (and other platforms like CapCut, or in-app editing dashboards for TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
• Edit both low-fi iPhone / UGC footage as well as hi-fi (Sony FX3, multi-cam) footage into engaging, digestible social videos
• Handle basic color correction / grading
• Create subtitles/captions optimized for social viewing
• Execute light motion graphics / basic animation (knowledge of After Effects is a plus)
• Handle social platform cropping and reframing for different platforms
• Package files for team handoff and handle project file management
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume social environment

Requirements

The Freelance Video Editor (Social) has:

• Ideally 2+ years of experience editing videos for social media (low-fi and hi-fi)
• Fluency in social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Experience in Adobe Premiere and CapCut (big plus if you have experience in After Effects / basic motion skills)
• Your own computer and the ability to work remotely
