Job Description

GoofCamp.com is a comedy-focused digital platform producing high-engagement short-form content and creator collaborations. We build social-first comedic videos designed for discoverability, audience growth, and monetizable brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

Short-Form Comedy Production

• Develop and produce vertical (9:16) comedic skits (≤ 60 seconds)
• Lead on-location shoots with emerging creators
• Contribute to scripting, pacing, and punchline refinement
• Edit fast-paced, platform-native content optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
• Deliver technically polished exports (audio clarity, lighting, framing, captioning)

Creator & Influencer Outreach

• Identify high-potential NYC-based comedians and creators
• Initiate and coordinate collaboration opportunities
• Support outreach for brand and merchandise campaigns
• Maintain organized communication and follow-through with collaborators

Requirements

• 2+ years producing short-form digital content with measurable engagement
• Strong editing proficiency (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated comedic writing instincts and timing
• Experience coordinating talent or creator collaborations
• Portfolio showing completed short-form work (links required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in comedy, entertainment, or creator-driven startups
• Existing network within NYC comedy or creator communities
• Experience developing content tied to monetization or brand partnerships

Desired Attributes

• Self-directed operator who can own a concept from pitch through delivery
• Strong taste in digital comedy and internet culture
• Reliable, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working without constant supervision
• Someone who understands that short-form content is about retention, not just views

Work Environment

Production will occur in New York City and surrounding areas. Some evening or weekend shoots may be required depending on content needs.
