We are looking for an editor to help produce a calm, cinematic children’s bedtime storytelling series called One More Story. Each episode runs around 10 to 11 minutes, blending multi-camera live action, illustrated book close-ups, and gentle animated character reactions. The editing style should focus on slow, emotionally sensitive, storybook-style pacing that is intended for young children before bed. We want someone who has advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, color grading for a warm, low-contrast tone, three-camera workflows, and experience with compositing subtle animated elements. The right candidate should value restraint and emotional rhythm, understand the importance of letting moments breathe, and be skilled in dialogue-first audio balancing. Familiarity with content for children and a strong instinct for narrative craft and sensitivity is preferred. This is a long-term project starting with a paid test edit, with the potential for ongoing episode work if the style is the right fit. You will be working remotely with a company dedicated to creating emotionally intentional and gentle children’s content.

I’m a performer, storyteller, and father of two young children, building a calm, emotionally intentional children’s series called One More Story.
The heart of this project is simple: create a bedtime space that feels safe, warm, and unrushed. Each episode blends live storytelling, gentle guitar music, illustrated book moments, and a soft animated giraffe companion named Gerry.
This series is deeply personal. It’s built around emotional rhythm, stillness, and connection rather than speed or algorithm-driven editing. I care deeply about tone and pacing, and I’m looking for a creative partner who values restraint, sensitivity, and narrative craft.
We are building something long-term, with repeatable structure and a cohesive visual world. The right editor will play a key role in shaping the emotional language of the series.
