Job Description
This is a remote position. We are looking for a data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to own our organic and paid acquisition channels. You will be responsible for the health of our website’s SEO, driving keyword rankings, and managing high-performing ad campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The ideal candidate is someone who can identify a technical error in WordPress one hour and optimize a LinkedIn ad spend the next.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in SEO and Paid Search/Social.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Platform Expertise: Certified (or highly experienced) in Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- CMS Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with WordPress. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a major plus for “fixing” technical SEO issues.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and clear monthly reports.
- Writing Skills: A solid grasp of SEO copywriting to ensure “keyword-rich” doesn’t mean “hard to read.”
Responsibilities
1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Site Audits: Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and site speed issues.
- Domain Authority: Develop and execute backlink strategies and high-quality content plans to improve overall domain strength.
- Technical SEO: Manage robots.txt, sitemaps, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals to ensure search engines can easily index the site.
- Keyword Strategy: Perform deep keyword research to identify high-intent opportunities and track rankings over time.
- Content Optimization: Audit existing website content and provide SEO briefs for new content to ensure maximum visibility.
2. Paid Advertising (PPC)
- Google Ads: Search, Display, and Remarketing campaign management including bid optimization and A/B testing copy.
- Social Ads: Strategy, setup, and scaling of ads on LinkedIn (B2B targeting) and Facebook/Meta (B2C/Retargeting).
- Performance Tracking: Monitor ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) to ensure budgets are used efficiently.
3. Website Management
- WordPress Proficiency: Navigate the WordPress CMS to update pages, manage SEO plugins (like Yoast or RankMath), and post content.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix website errors (404s, redirect loops, mobile usability issues) that negatively impact SEO.
