Job Description

Bogar Tech Designs is seeking a Short-Form Video Editor to build a high-volume content engine for our fast-growing automotive accessories brand. You will work directly with our Creative Director to edit and deliver fully polished short-form videos optimized for social platforms. This is a freelance position with the potential to transition to full-time after 30 days based on performance and collaboration.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Advanced After Effects skills (REQUIRED)
• Motion graphics
• Masking & rotoscoping
• 2D & 3D camera tracking
• Split-screen compositing
• Dynamic on-screen callouts
• Clean, purposeful design (not template-heavy)

Creative Requirements:

• Strong understanding of short-form pacing
• Instinct for scroll-stopping hooks
• Music selection and beat syncing ability
• Clean, intentional text and title design
• Ability to edit different formats without repeating the same style
• Organized project management

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (under 60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Develop strong visual hooks in the first 1–2 seconds
• Create engaging, music-synced edits
• Execute clean motion graphics and compositing in After Effects
• Manage high-volume editing workflow (batching system encouraged)
• Organize project files and exports efficiently
• Collaborate closely with Creative Director
• Contribute creative ideas, not just execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing automotive, lifestyle, or DTC product content
• Experience working in high-volume content environments
• Familiarity with brands like Carpe, Dr. Squatch, Dollar Shave Club, Overnight Oats
• Strong creative instincts and ability to pitch ideas
• Cinematic transformation editing style
• Dynamic editing voice across multiple content formats
