Flash Card IllustratorSearching

I am looking for a freelancer to create illustrations for flash cards as part of a personal project.

There are 50 Japanese transitive pairs (example 集まる & 集める), each with example sentences with a JRPG theme. The work will be completed remotely, but the freelancer must be based in Japan or have nuanced understanding of Japanese language example prompts.

This project is high volume, but relatively simple in execution. 50-100 simple “clip” illustrations, with minimal visual elements are requested. A subject (character) and action (verb) performed against white or simple background is all that will be required. Illustrations should feature generic JRPG archetypes and tropes (“Hero”, “Mage”, “King”, “Thief”, “Monster”).

The illustration styles of Ken Sugimori (Pokemon) or Akira Toriyama (Dragon Quest) would be appropriate sources of inspiration. Simple graphics are requested, fitting to the video game or JRPG theme of each example sentence. Would also consider pixel art-style.

Simple character design skillset and visual consistency across examples would be considered very favorably.
