Job Description

We are seeking a Long-Form Video Editor for KAIROS, a premium athletic wear brand founded by Olympic marathoner Yaseen Abdalla, based in Austin, TX. The role involves editing brand documentaries, founder story videos, and YouTube content. You will be working with cinematic footage and narrative storytelling, providing a significant opportunity to enhance your storytelling skills.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative-driven edits, including documentaries, short films, or story-based content.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
• Solid understanding of pacing, story structure, and emotional arcs.
• Comfort with color grading and basic audio cleanup.
• Self-directed with the ability to make editorial decisions independently using raw footage.

Compensation

This position offers a paid internship or discounted freelance rate, with options for college credit. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and scope, paying between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour.

Location

The role is remote-friendly, but preference is given to candidates in Austin, TX for occasional in-person collaboration.
