Film Crews (videographers, producers, sound, lighting experts) wanted for rosterUrgent
Filmmaker is needed in India.
Medical Aid Films, a UK-registered international charity, is building a global roster of talented filmmakers, editors, producers, cinematographers, and field producers for future health communication projects. We create films, documentaries, and multimedia resources for women, girls, and marginalised communities, working with partners like THET, UNFPA, and WHO. Our content supports health workers, educators, and NGOs across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. We are seeking freelancers with experience in documentary, educational, or community health content, especially those familiar with low-resource settings and who understand ethical considerations when filming in vulnerable environments. Filmmakers should be able to work sensitively with communities, produce short health education or documentary films, and have production experience in relevant regions or languages. This roster call is a chance to join a pool of creative professionals for upcoming projects. It is not a commission for an immediate project but an opportunity to collaborate on meaningful health communication initiatives as needs arise. You will receive first look at briefs and work in a responsive and collaborative environment with fair compensation according to project scope.
Budget range:
Large project ($3,000 – 5,000 USD)

About the client
Medical Aid Films (MAF) is a UK-registered international charity that produces health communication content for women, girls, and marginalised communities worldwide. Our films, documentaries, and multimedia resources are used by frontline health workers, community health educators, and NGO partners across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Our funders and partners include THET, UNFPA, WHO, and a growing network of international NGOs and health organisations.
Our mission is to save lives through better health information, delivered in ways that communities can actually access, understand, and use. Film and video are at the heart of that mission. A well-made two-minute health film, shot in a community clinic in Lagos or a rural health post in Myanmar, can change the way a health worker explains a difficult diagnosis or how a mother understands her newborn’s needs. We make content that travels, that lasts, and that genuinely matters.
