Permission: A Psychological Short Film [Urgent]

Video Editor is needed in Malaysia.

I am looking for a creative and detail-oriented video editor to collaborate on a psychological thriller short film titled Permission. The film explores themes of morality, human restraint, and the darker side of human nature. The editor should be able to listen carefully to the director’s vision and help shape the story through pacing, atmosphere, and tension. This project relies heavily on cinematic mood, suspenseful timing, and strong emotional impact, so experience with narrative or short film editing is preferred. You will be responsible for editing raw footage into a cohesive short film, following the creative vision and storytelling direction, creating suspenseful pacing suitable for a psychological thriller, adding basic sound design, transitions, and cinematic cuts where appropriate, and collaborating throughout the editing process. The goal is to produce a compelling short film suitable for screenings, competitions, and online release.
