Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand vision and content goals across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
• Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, and background music.
• Create short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling standards.
• Retouch and enhance video quality (color correction, audio sync, etc.).
• Collaborate with content creators, educators, and the marketing team.
• Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling approaches.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing or similar role.
• Basic understanding of video composition, storytelling, color, and typography.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
• Ability to work with different media formats and editing styles.
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.
• Experience in social media content creation (Reels, Shorts, Ads).
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations.
