JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Tax Research team at AgileEngine, you will develop scalable web applications and backend services that power a cutting-edge research platform for tax professionals. Working with React.js, Node.js, Python, and AWS, you’ll enable fast content discovery, complex data processing, and high-performance workflows. This role offers a chance to influence architecture, optimize integrations, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams in a dynamic, impact-driven environment.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience with React.js building modern web applications;
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and Python;
• Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs;
• Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services;
• Experience working with relational databases;
• Experience developing applications across the full stack;
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform);
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems;
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to technical leadership.
