Job Description

This is a remote position for a Full Stack Web Developer at KonnectHub, a part-time independent contractor role based in the Philippines. The position requires working during PST (California Hours). The developer will design, develop, and maintain web platforms and digital products, focusing on both frontend and backend development. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver reliable digital solutions while adhering to modern development standards and best practices. The ideal candidate should have experience with React or Vue.js, PHP, MySQL, and API integrations, and should be able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain websites, landing pages, and internal web applications; build scalable solutions; optimize for performance and security; maintain existing systems.
• Frontend Development: Develop responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; work with React or Vue.js; translate UI/UX designs; ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Backend Development: Develop server-side logic using PHP; build and maintain RESTful APIs; manage MySQL databases; implement secure authentication and data handling.
• API Integration & Automation: Integrate third-party services; develop APIs and automation for workflow optimization; ensure stable connectivity.
• Internal Tools Development: Build dashboards and tools for HR, Operations, and Finance; automate processes through custom solutions.
• Development & Deployment: Use Git-based version control; follow best practices for code reviews; support CI/CD pipelines; maintain staging and production environments.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting; ensure performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Collaboration: Work with design, marketing, and internal stakeholders; provide technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Based in the Philippines.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience with React or Vue.js.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and best practices.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 for core development responsibilities.

Technical Skills

Frontend:

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• React or Vue.js.

Backend:

• PHP.
• REST API Development.

Database:

• MySQL.
• Query optimization.

Tools & Practices:

• Git / Version Control.
