Video Editor for ReelsUrgent

Video Editor is needed in Kenya.

I’m a GP and a mum who creates engaging, evidence-based content for parents on topics such as nutrition, children’s health, and lifestyle. I need a creative video editor familiar with short-form content to turn my talking-head videos into polished and engaging Reels. Your responsibilities will include editing 30–120 second videos, cleaning up pauses and tightening pacing, adding clean captions (not flashy TikTok style), and thoughtfully selecting relevant B-roll. Light zooms and movement should be used for engagement while maintaining a credible, warm, and trustworthy tone. I do not want flashy edits, excessive effects, or content that feels generic or AI-generated. The ideal candidate should have experience editing short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), possess a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, be able to match visuals to spoken content, and have good English skills for accurate captions. Experience with educational or health content is a plus. This could turn into long-term work as my content grows.
