Are you a highly skilled and creative Freelance Video Editor with a passion for transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories? Career.zycto is seeking talented remote video editors to join our expanding network of freelance professionals. We partner with a diverse range of clients across various sectors, including digital marketing, corporate communications, entertainment, and educational content. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of content types, from short-form social media videos and promotional spots to longer-form narratives and explainer videos, providing a rich and dynamic work experience.

As a Freelance Video Editor, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients’ visions to life. You will be responsible for all stages of post-production, from initial ingest and organization to final delivery, which includes meticulous editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics integration, and ensuring all projects adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines. Your ability to interpret creative briefs, offer innovative solutions, and communicate clearly with project managers will be crucial to your success.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of video editing principles, pacing, and storytelling
• Demonstrable experience with color correction and audio mixing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender)
• Familiarity with various camera formats and codecs
• Experience editing for diverse platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Ability to create original motion graphics from scratch
