I run a YouTube channel focused on music production, software walkthroughs, and track breakdowns, as well as advocacy content for the rare disease community. I have two decades of experience in video content creation, both in front of and behind the camera. I work under the TWAT DJ brand for my music and creator content, and I edit in DaVinci Resolve, so you’ll be working with someone who understands the editing process and values clear briefs. I am looking for a reliable video editor who can regularly turn my raw footage into engaging, well-paced YouTube videos, typically between 10 and 15 minutes long. Content includes music software tutorials, hardware demos, DAW footage, and talking head videos, with occasional Shorts or clips edited from longer material. You should be comfortable editing screen recordings and have a good sense of pacing, especially knowing when to edit or retain moments in the video. Accurate captions and subtitles are a plus, as is experience with YouTube export optimization. Strong communication is important, and a genuine interest in music production, audio gear, or music software will help. While high-end production values aren’t necessary, you must be able to combine multiple video streams into cohesive, polished content. Please provide YouTube links to 2–3 relevant examples of your work (or, if not available, brief descriptions of your experience). When applying, explain how you would approach editing a 12-minute music software walkthrough when the presenter occasionally loses their train of thought. Ideally, you should be able to provide DaVinci Resolve project files for further tweaks. This is a long-term opportunity with regular work for someone building their portfolio.
