I’m a tour content creator working with an active music act on the road. Every day I capture hours of raw footage: candid moments, behind-the-scenes, travel, performances, fan interactions. I need an editor who can work through that footage and cut it into multiple types of short-form social media content, while also staying ahead of the posting schedule, not just keeping up with it. This is not a ‘polish my already-cut video’ role. You need to be a storyteller who can find the moment in a sea of clips. Raw footage will be uploaded to a shared Google Drive daily, and I maintain a Footage Index that logs every clip and flags moments worth using. You’ll use that index as your roadmap to pull the right clips, cut the content, and deliver on schedule, including getting ahead of the content calendar when possible. The material you’ll edit includes tour vlogs, performance clips with text overlays, talking-to-performance pieces, and candid behind-the-scenes moments. Expect 1-3 deliverables per day based on footage availability. The work is Monday through Friday, 3-4 hours per day, with the contract starting within the next few days and running for 4 weeks. You should be proficient in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, have a portfolio of 3-minute or under lifestyle/creator/music content, and understand pacing for Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. You should be comfortable editing from unstructured raw footage, be able to start immediately, and be reliable with deadlines.
