Job Description

We’re looking for a Video Editor who specializes in short-form content. The role involves taking long-form footage such as podcasts, interviews, and YouTube videos, and extracting the best moments to create Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and vertical ads designed to capture attention. You’ll find hooks, tighten pacing, add captions and graphics, and deliver polished cuts tailored for social media feeds.

Requirements

• Strong command of Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve
• Motion graphics skills for building clean, on-brand animations
• Post-production fundamentals including color grading, audio syncing, VFX, and rendering
• A working understanding of social media video dynamics including retention, pacing, captions, and aspect ratios
• Comfort with file transfer workflows and content management systems
• Taste for typography and layout, allowing for designed graphics rather than basic additions

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, platform-native cuts using Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for social media posting
• Incorporate motion graphics, VFX, and color to enhance storytelling and branding
• Create sound designs and music that enhances the edit rather than serves as mere background noise
• Maintain organization of media, project files, and assets across shoots and campaigns
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and strategists to translate briefs into the final cut
