Job Description

This is a remote position. We’re looking for a Video Editor who lives in short-form. Someone to take long-form footage podcasts, interviews, YouTube videos, client shoots and pull the sharpest moments out to build Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and vertical ads that stop the scroll. Your expertise in editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques will help elevate our brand’s visual identity and ensure our content stands out in a crowded digital landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished, platform-native cuts using Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve that will be posted to social media.
  • Keep media, project files, and assets organized across shoots and campaigns.
  • Incorporate sound design, music, and voiceovers to create engaging multimedia content that aligns with project goals.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop storyboards, shot lists, and editing timelines that meet project specifications.
  • Manage digital assets efficiently through content management systems and organize files for seamless workflow.
  • Enhance videos with motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction using tools like Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to branding guidelines, technical specifications, and quality standards across various platforms.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge; Final Cut Pro and other relevant editing tools.
  • Proven experience in video editing, post-production, and motion graphics creation with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
  • A working understanding of how video lives on social retention, pacing, captions, aspect ratios, platform quirks.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and creative quality.
  • Familiarity with content creation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of typography, graphic design principles, and visual storytelling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
