Job Description

AVL Event Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Vector Designer / Illustrator to support our event production team. This role involves creating clean, accurate vector drawings for event layouts, production plans, and visual assets. This is a freelance / project-based role with potential for ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Create vector drawings and layouts based on provided specs (floor plans, stage setups, etc.)
• Convert sketches or references into clean, scalable vector files
• Prepare files for production use (print, digital, or technical layouts)
• Make revisions quickly based on feedback
• Maintain organized and properly labeled files

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / SketchUp (required)
• Experience with vector-based design and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
• Experience in event production, AV, or staging layouts is a plus

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Understanding of event layouts, staging, or lighting plans

Compensation

• Freelance / per project or hourly (based on project availability)
• Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day
