Job Description

Freelance Reel Creator / Video Editor focused on editing short form video for social media using raw footage, event captures, iPhone content, and brand assets. The ideal candidate is skilled in shaping content into polished, visually strong REELS that align with a luxury aesthetic.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Edit video content to create Instagram REELS and short form video content.
• Create polished final edits for social media.
• Incorporate music, text overlays, transitions, and light motion graphics when needed.
• Handle revisions based on creative direction.
• Repurpose existing footage into new social assets.
• Track assignments, links, and workflow details in Google Sheets.

CapCut Requirement:

• Must use CapCut for video editing and REEL creation.
• Editors will be required to work within the company’s CapCut account.

Required Experience:

• Strong background in short form video editing.
• Must have strong working knowledge of CapCut.
• Experience designing, creating, and editing REELS.
• Working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Photos, Google Sheets.
• Ability to keep assets organized and workflows clear.
• Strong sense of pacing, story flow, and visual composition.
• Tailor each client content adhering to the client brand standards.
• Reliable communication and consistent turnaround.

Bonus Experience:

• Interior design, luxury lifestyles brands, fashion, hospitality.
• Event content and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Light motion graphics or text-based video formatting.
