Hello! Are you an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer based in Portugal looking to grow in a team of highly skilled, top-talent innovators while working on multiple products in a range of industries? If so, Altar may be the right place for you.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be working with both the front and back ends of websites/applications, providing a complete, end-to-end service for demanding web projects. You’ll be among a cross-functional team of seasoned Altarions with expertise in a multitude of sectors, from fintech and marketplace to AI and IoT.

Requirements

The Hands-On Experience We Need You to Bring to the Table:

• 6+ years of experience with Web Application Development, with robust knowledge and experience with Javascript-based back-end frameworks (like Node/Express);
• Professional experience in working with JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, React.js, or Vue.js;
• Experience with traditional Databases, namely MongoDB and PostgreSQL;
• Experience writing “single-threaded” Node.js applications;
• Some experience with modern CSS Frameworks such as TailwindsCSS;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

The Extra Experience We’d Love to See:

• Experience with writing Python or GO applications;
• Experience working with major cloud vendors such as GCP and AWS.
