Job Description

Alex Weber, Award Winning Speaker and Author, is seeking a Video Editor to create 4-5 short form videos every week. Alex will provide the RAW footage, and the Video Editor will assemble videos from a variety of styles, focusing on intentional content creation rather than cookie-cutter edits. This role involves transforming raw footage and images into compelling visual stories that captivate audiences across multiple platforms, enhancing the brand’s visual identity with high-quality content delivery. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, while honing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer or similar software.
• Skilled in photo editing, photo manipulation, motion graphics, and visual effects creation.
• Knowledge of 3D animation tools such as Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Familiarity with videography techniques including filming and content creation workflows.
• Strong understanding of typography, graphic design principles, and content management systems.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage using industry-standard software to craft polished final products that meet creative briefs and project goals.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and typography using appropriate tools to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
• Manage photo editing and manipulation tasks to produce high-quality images for multimedia projects.
• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, photographers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of visuals and narratives.
• Organize and maintain digital assets within content management systems and FTP servers for efficient workflow management.
• Apply color correction, sound editing, and other post-production techniques to refine video quality and ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging trends in video production, animation (2D/3D), and graphic design to continuously elevate content standards.
