Job Description

We are hiring a freelance Video Editor to turn pre-recorded content into polished long-form videos and engaging short-form clips. This role is focused on editing, clipping, formatting, and delivering content for digital and social media platforms. Compensation is paid per completed video.

Responsibilities

• Edit pre-recorded footage into finished long-form videos
• Create short-form clips for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Cut and organize footage for pacing, clarity, and engagement
• Add captions, text overlays, music, transitions, and basic graphics as needed
• Export videos in platform-ready formats
• Complete projects on time and handle revisions as needed

Requirements

• Experience editing long-form and short-form video content
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and responsiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing podcasts, interviews, webinars, talking-head videos, or social media content
• Experience creating high-performing short-form clips
• Basic motion graphics and caption styling skills

Compensation

• Paid per completed video
• Rate depends on video length, complexity, and turnaround time
