Job Description

We’re looking for a Music Video Editor to collaborate on a visually striking, performance-driven music video for LA-based artist Kira Rizavi. This project is highly visual and detail-driven, with rich color, intricate jewelry styling, sculpted lighting, and performance at the center. Every frame is intentional, focusing on texture, movement, and capturing presence on camera in an elevated and cinematic way.

The editor should meet a high visual standard aligned with artists like Ariana Grande and Jhené Aiko while preserving the rawness and intensity of the performance. The goal is not just a clean edit, but a visually undeniable product where the artist remains the focal point.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio in music videos, fashion, or artist content
• A refined eye for feminine, cinematic visuals
• Ability to take direction and elevate it creatively (not just execute)
• Taste level matters more than credits

Responsibilities

• Edit a performance-based music video with a strong visual identity
• Enhance mood, pacing, and emotional impact through cuts and color
• Work collaboratively while executing on a clear artistic vision
• Be comfortable working with a director who communicates in a fast, intuitive, and visual way (references, voice notes, real-time ideas)
