Job Description

AT3 Tactical is looking to build a small group of reliable contract video editors to support our growing YouTube and marketing content pipeline. We are not hiring a single full-time role; rather, we aim to establish a bench of 4+ editors who can consistently take on video editing projects. If you’re an experienced editor who creates engaging, fast-paced YouTube content, we want to see your work.

Requirements

We’re looking for editors who can deliver engaging, high-quality, polished videos efficiently.

• Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar)
• Editing dialogue-driven content with clean pacing
• Effective use of B-roll to enhance storytelling
• Basic motion graphics and text overlays
• Audio cleanup and balancing
• Basic firearm knowledge

Core Skills

• Experience editing YouTube content (retention-focused editing)
• Proven sense of pacing, engagement, and clarity
• Skill in transforming raw footage into compelling content
• Firearm enthusiasts, especially around the AR-15 platform

Compensation

• Paid per finished minute of video (Range $15 - $30)
• You will submit your rate as part of the application
• Rates will be evaluated alongside quality and experience
• Paid test project required for selected candidates

Hiring Process

• Submit application + portfolio (examples of YouTube videos that you have edited are required)
• Selected candidates complete a paid test edit
• Top performers are added to our editor pool
• Ongoing project work based on performance

Additional Information

This is a contract/freelance opportunity:

• You will be paid per finished minute of video
• You set your rate (we will review and approve based on quality and fit)
• Work is assigned on an ongoing basis based on performance and availability
• Top performers will receive consistent, repeat work
