Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Video Producer/Editor to transform raw ideas into high-octane, engaging content. Whether it’s a 60-second viral hook or a deep-dive long-form piece, you’ll be the one stitching together voice, visuals, and sound to create something people actually want to watch.

The Mission:

• Narrative Design: Edit long and short-form videos that prioritize storytelling and emotional resonance.
• Audio Mastery: Seamlessly blend voiceovers, sound effects, and music to drive the energy of the piece.
• Visual Polish: Enhance every frame with color grading, motion graphics, and pacing that keeps viewers glued to the screen.
• On-Site Collaboration: Work alongside our expert team to brainstorm concepts and execute a consistent visual brand.

Requirements

Equipment & Tech Requirements:

• Bring Your Own Machine (BYOM): This is a contractor position where you provide your own high-performance editing rig (Mac or PC) and professional software (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Turnkey Setup: You should have a workstation capable of handling high-resolution footage and complex renders without breaking a sweat.
• Toolkit Awareness: We value creators who have a “favorite” set of tools and are constantly experimenting with the latest AI opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Local Presence: You must be based in the Bayarea for filming and in-person collaboration.
• Detail Obsession: You notice the frame that’s out of place and the audio pop that no one else hears.
• Versatility: You can pivot from the fast-paced “retention-style” editing of social media to the nuanced pacing of longer content.
• Independence: You take a brief and run with it, bringing your own “creative eye” to every project.
• AI Integration (Nice to have): Leverage the latest AI tools (Generative AI, AI voice enhancement, automated transcription, etc.) to streamline workflows and push creative boundaries.

Compensation & Details

Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour
