Job Description

Blabber is seeking a short-form video editor who specializes in founder-led content for our CEO’s personal brand. The objective is to build authority in the automotive space and generate inbound leads for the business. The ideal candidate should understand what makes a video engaging, particularly for social media platforms, and how to effectively edit speaking footage to establish trust with dealership owners, GMs, and sales leaders. This role is part-time, freelance, remote, and offers flexible hours.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Edit 10–15 second short-form videos for platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Create fast-paced edits featuring captions, hooks, and trending styles with attention-grabbing pacing.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance storytelling.
• Deliver multiple short-form edits weekly, optimized for engagement and lead generation.
• Stay updated with social media editing trends and viral formats.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand standards and project goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in editing short-form social media content.
• Strong understanding of modern editing styles on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to create engaging hooks and maintain pacing to increase watch time.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro; Experience with After Effects is preferred but not required.
• Strong eye for storytelling, music timing, captions, and visual flow.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

Bonus Points If You:

• Understand viral social media trends and can suggest content ideas.
• Have motion graphics or animation experience.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and motion design.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
• Maintain organized project files within content management systems.

Compensation

• Part-time freelance position.
• Pay is up to $2,500/month depending on skill level, speed, and output.
