Job Description

The role involves designing, implementing, and continuously expanding data pipelines, translating technical systems specifications into working applications, resolving technical issues, and supporting SharePoint and Power Tool version releases and infrastructure solutions. The resource will handle urgent priorities and upgrades for CSC platforms.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure fundamentals, C#, .NET framework, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Experience in creating Accessible applications.
• Experience in data migration.
• Experience with maintaining and enhancing SharePoint websites and applications.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Experience in programming and analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in structured methodologies for application development.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and one or more programming languages.
• Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
• Experience with web architecture design, REST API services, and DevOps.

Troubleshooting Skills:

• Experience with maintaining and enhancing SharePoint websites and applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting issues in SharePoint.

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.

Public Sector Experience:

• Ability to work closely with cluster and ministry clients is an asset.
• Experience in the Public Service, either as a vendor representative or under contract with a government ministry or agency.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, government IT policies and procedures.

• Experience in design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
• Experience with communications protocols and information retrieval packages.
