Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our innovative content team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage, images, and graphics into compelling visual stories that captivate audiences across multiple platforms. Your expertise in editing software and motion graphics will help elevate our brand’s visual identity, ensuring every project is polished, engaging, and aligned with our creative vision. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse content types, from promotional videos to social media campaigns, in a fast-paced environment that values creativity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video footage using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to produce high-quality content.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations utilizing Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar tools to enhance storytelling.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Illustrator to create compelling visual assets.
• Manage post-production workflows including color correction, sound editing, and quality control to ensure final output meets technical standards.
• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, photographers, and graphic designers to develop cohesive multimedia projects.
• Organize and maintain digital assets using content management systems and file transfer protocols (FTP) for efficient workflow.
• Stay current with industry trends in video production, motion graphics, 3D animation (Maya), and graphic design to continuously improve content quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, or Avid systems.
• Solid background in photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, or Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with motion graphics creation and 3D animation using Cinema 4D or Maya is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of videography techniques including filming and content creation for various platforms.
• Experience working within content management systems and handling large media files via FTP.
• Strong understanding of typography, graphic design principles, and visual storytelling to craft engaging multimedia content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Additional Information

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
