Kervin Explains...football
We are launching a new YouTube channel called ‘Kervin Explains…football’, created by experienced journalist Alison Kervin. The project is a ten-part beginner’s guide to football, aiming for an approachable, slightly arch and observational style. We are seeking a video editor to help create the first episode, with the goal of setting the tone for the series. Tifo Football is our reference for pacing and visual density. The editor will ensure there is a visual change on screen every 3 to 5 seconds and the presenter is never alone on screen for more than 10 seconds. Captions in a unique comic-book style must be placed on every key phrase, illustrations reused thoughtfully, and modern playful music/sound effects are needed to punctuate, not overwhelm, the narrative. Assets provided include all footage, custom illustrations, scripted breakdowns, intro/outro frames, and style references. Deliverables are a 10 to 12 minute, 1080p MP4 video with either burned-in captions or provided SRT. If successful, this can turn into long-term work for additional episodes and other future content.
