This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Business Automation Developer who can understand business problems and solve them using technology. This role is suitable for candidates searching for titles such as Business Process Automation Specialist, Automation Engineer, Business Systems Developer, Low-Code Developer, Full-Stack Automation Developer, Laravel Automation Developer, or Workflow Automation Developer.

The ideal candidate should have a technical background and a strong interest in improving business processes through automation, system integrations, and custom software development. You will work closely with business and operations teams to understand workflows, identify inefficiencies, and build practical solutions using tools such as n8n, Laravel, APIs, databases, and AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Build workflow automations using n8n or similar tools such as Make, Zapier, or Pipedream.
• Develop custom business applications, internal tools, dashboards, portals, and workflow systems using Laravel.
• Integrate different platforms and systems using APIs, webhooks, databases, and third-party services.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to speed up development.
• Convert manual processes into automated workflows and digital systems.
• Build solutions for departments such as sales, operations, finance, HR, customer support, project management, and administration.
• Create forms, approval systems, reporting tools, CRM-related workflows, notification systems, and data synchronization processes.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing automation workflows and Laravel-based systems.
• Work with non-technical team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document workflows, integrations, technical processes, and system logic.
• Test automations and applications to ensure reliability, accuracy, and smooth performance.
• Suggest better tools, systems, and technology approaches to improve business efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with n8n or other workflow automation tools.
• Experience with Laravel and PHP development.
• Good understanding of business processes and operational workflows.
• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to build internal tools, dashboards, forms, and workflow-based systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Basic frontend knowledge such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Ability to understand a business problem and convert it into a technical solution.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CRM, ERP, HR, accounting, project management, or customer support system integrations.
• Experience with WhatsApp API, email automation, Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, server deployment, and basic DevOps.
• Experience building client portals, admin panels, approval workflows, reporting dashboards, or SaaS-style systems.
• Experience with AI agents, AI workflow automation, or chatbot integrations.
• Understanding of UI/UX basics for business applications and internal tools.
• Experience with data cleanup, data migration, and process optimization.
• Ability to create quick prototypes and MVPs using a mix of low-code tools and custom development.
