Job Description

This is a remote position for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the Music Industry / SaaS sector. The role is based in the UK and offers a salary of £70K plus benefits.

If you’re a Senior Full Stack Engineer and music lover looking for a more interesting work environment, this is the opportunity for you. You’ll be part of a small team of full stack developers responsible for building a successful artist/fan/audience platform, creating key tools and features that enhance the connection between artists and their fans.

As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of development from concept through to production, and play a significant role in shaping the platform and the team during a phase of growth. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience designing and building scalable systems and architectures, especially in managing high-traffic, event-based peaks in users.

This role is suited for a Full Stack Developer who has led projects and seeks to formalize that experience in a senior capacity, or for a Senior Full Stack Developer looking for a growing company with clear career development paths.

This position allows for remote working in the UK, complemented by regular social meet-ups and music-related events.

Requirements

  • Experience in full ownership and commercial delivery of highly reliable web applications.
  • Proficient in TypeScript, Node, Next.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform.
  • Able to architect and implement scalable, resilient systems.
  • Appreciation for clean code, best practices, and system efficiencies.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments.
  • Detailed knowledge of real-time or high concurrency systems.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Proactive user of modern development tools and AI-powered development processes.
  • Enjoys knowledge sharing, mentoring, and helping a team to grow.
  • A music lover, passionate about favorite artists, groups, or genres.
