Job Description

Complex is the definitive platform for global youth culture and music lifestyle, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge content, commerce, and live experiences with unparalleled scale. Through innovative content, Complex tells stories of music, streetwear, sports, art, and more, engaging in a dynamic conversation with the audience and reshaping the future of digital culture and commerce.

This role involves posting editorial features across Complex’s social media channels, supporting Complex Sports as needed, and creatively covering big sports moments. The role requires working with various tools to create, aggregate, and post content, while mastering Complex’s editorial voice and tone.

Requirements

• Proven understanding of all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads).
• Understanding of and interest in internet culture, sports, and its key players.
• Familiarity with Complex content, tone, and voice.
• Impeccable organizational skills with a focus on improving internal processes.
• Knowledge of current events and ability to catch trending moments.
• Proficiency in Slack and email communications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Suite is a plus).
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays for coverage.
• Able to problem-solve autonomously during offline hours.

The pay range, which consists of salary and commission, is listed; actual pay will vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. This range is just one component of Complex’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
